Prediction market platform Kalshi has established a Washington, D.C. office to intensify its federal lobbying operations, naming John Bivona as head of federal government relations. The former WHITE House liaison at Homeland Security brings two decades of political strategy experience to the role.

Concurrently, Kalshi appointed Blake Bee to lead state-level policy engagement. Bee's background includes managing Amazon's subnational public policy initiatives. These strategic hires come as regulatory scrutiny of prediction markets intensifies across multiple jurisdictions.

CEO Tarek Mansour framed the expansion as part of a broader push for regulatory clarity. The moves signal Kalshi's commitment to shaping policy discussions amid evolving oversight frameworks for alternative trading platforms.
